and jazz/blues guitar classics

The International Center For Artistic Development, Inc. is proud to present an art exhibition of fine art works on the theme of music and spirituality by artists Camellia A. Blackwell, Eljay McBride, and Marlene Jackson. Camellia Blackwell is a resident fine artist at Historic Savage Mill, and Executive Director of ICAD. She has received numerous awards and accolades for her hand pulled original prints and poster designs from the Smithsonian Institution and the State of Maryland. Eljay McBride’s Jazz drawings “Sang Along” has been featured in the movie, “Runaway Bride” with Julia Roberts. Marlene Jackson is a graphic artist, CEO of Inspirational Choices, and adjunct professor with Johns Hopkins University.
There will be a wine and cheese reception at the Opening Reception on Sunday, February 3, at 2PM. The entertainment at the reception will be poetry readings by David H. Barrett, Howard County Poet and Chairman of the Board HOCOPOLITSO, (Howard County Poetry and Literary Society, a non-profit 501C3 organization), and Jazz/Blues Guitar Classics by Alfred Bracey. Mr. Bracey is a member of the Ellington Adderly African American Community Jazz Ensemble and also the Goldenaires orchestra composed of senior citizens that perform throughout Howard and surrounding counties for special events.
